I've noticed recently that whenever I leave my computer for a while and come back that it's either asleep and won't respond, causing me to manually restart it or it will have restarted itself and loaded my old version of windows off my HDD, instead of following my boot order and loading windows 10 off my SSD.

My motherboard is a Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 and is about 3 months old. Everytime this happens I get a 6008 error in my event log. I also show error 7, Harddisk1 has a bad block. HD1 is my SSD which could be the problem, but this error doesn't happen everytime it restarts.

I switched ports, same problem. From my research it looks like it might be failing, I really hope not though. It's only about 2 years old and hasn't been used much though. I'll run tests on it and report back what I find. Thank you

It should still have a Warranty. There was a time they were selling them with 3 and even 5 year warranties. You might check, it can't hurt to ask.
