Computer restarts randomly, ususally when playing games! HELP!

Hey everyone, I have a PC I built myself and have had it for almost a year. For the past week or two, I've been getting random restarts, about 10-15 minutes into games. It's been getting worse, it restarted while I was simply watching a video today!

My PC specs:

Intel Core i5 4690k 3.5 GHz
MSI H81M-P33 (MS-7817)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
8GB RAM
1TB HD
480 Logisys PSU

I have a very similar issue to this thread: (http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/56480-2-computer-restarts-randomly-playing-games-help), with similar temperatures, so I know it is not an overheating issue. Suggestions??

It could be the power supply. Try looking into the windows log files under system and see what happens right before the computer crashes.

I looked under administrative events in the event viewer, and saw several "Critical" messages in the midst of all the errors and warnings, all labelled "Kernel-Power". According to the descriptions, this only happens when the system crashes, stops responding, or loses power, which does sound like the case. What can I do if my PSU is the problem? It came with my case. Thanks in advance.

You should try swapping out your power supply then and see if you run into the same issue.
