Question Computer restarts randomly

My computer randomly reboots, fans don't stop while rebooting. Sometimes occurs during gaming and other times it occurs just idling. It usually does this reboot twice or three times per week. And it is really annoying. I don't know if it is the memory or the power supply.

CPU: i7-4790 @ 3.60 GHz
MEMORY: 2x8 DDR3
HDD: TOSHIBA DT01ACA200 (2TB)
GPU: GeForce GTX 960

230w + 180w ASUS external psu adaptor

i never heard of this type of PSU set up. Why not just upgrade to a proper PSU

My desktop is very confined and small, I have to use an external PSU, a normal PSU would not fit inside the case.
