Computer restarts while playing games

Computer restarts randomly while playing games. Trying to decide between power supply or overheating. Any ideas on how to narrow down which?

Core i5
GTX950
Corsair 600W PS
H170MB

I have tried keeping my fans on full (including GPU) and it doesnt seem to get overly hot but it still restarts, the computer is two years old and always had this issue (custom built) but I rarely used it for gaming until my primary machine broke.

Any thoughts?

hwinfo for temp readings then occt to stress test psu and gpu-z rendering for gpu test .

Monitor cpu temperatures with something like HWMonitor.

Which exact model 600w PSU? Corsair have done some crap models.

It’s a CX Series, CX600 non modular.

Also, I have used Corsair command center and my temps don’t approach anything over 160f. None of the temps stand out.

Yeah, that's not a good one, replace it with a better quality unit.

Yeah that’s not a good psu. It could be something else but psu seems likely.

cx although it has taiwaneze capacitors its for a home pc for gamng web surfing some video editing etc.its not a ba psu compared to the vs series

71c start to be hot did you check with hwinfo .
