Computer running but no display on screen

Hello

Last night my computer screen suddenly went black and i thought my screen broke because recently its been turning off and on for 2 seconds if i have it on low brightness but that wasn't the case,i restarted but the screen is still black and it doesn't even show the "check signal cable" screen just total darkness,i disconnected the VGI cable from the GPU and tried the motherboard's VGA and it worked perfectly without any crashes or errors,i tried removing and installing the GPU with no luck,the GPU's fan is working so i'm not sure what seems to be the problem here.

Has anyone encountered this issue before?

The problem here is that your discreet GPU has probably just died. The best (easiest) way to test this is to remove it from your computer and install it in someone else's computer to see if it works. Lacking that, take it to a repair shop for a quick test.
