Hello so my computer has been fucked for some time now.

To begin, I put this computer together with random parts in my house. It took me about 4 days to get it to turn on. There wasn't really a difference in what I was doing. For example, I would arrange the parts in a certain combination and try to turn it on. The computer would show no sign of life. I would give up for the night and go to sleep.

The next morning, I change nothing at all and the computer turns on. Now here's the thing. Once you get this computer to turn on, you need to leave it running. If you turn off the computer, it could be 4 days before it decides to work again.

However, if the computer is left on properly, It can run for 4 months at a time - indefinitely with no issues.

As soon as you turn it off, you are going to see massive issues with this computer.

So, once I built and turned on the computer successfully, I left it running for about 2 months this time around. No issues at all, except the day I misclicked the power off button. Now Im dealing with the classic error of the computer crash and reboot cycle of death.

This has happened to me many times, it always the same thing. The screen will go black, then a few seconds later and audio you were playing will loop and play the last sound it made over and over again. The computer will do this for about 15 seconds. Sometimes it will restart itself, and sometimes it will require you to hold down the power button or manually unplug in order to shut it down.

This cycle and crash will become more and more common until the computer is unusable - The computer will start crashing every 5 minutes in this way.

Every time this happens, I will go back into the reassembling of the computer stage. I have 4 video cards, 3 different kinds of ram, and 4 different power supplies. After changing around parts for a few days, the computer will turn on and work once again. It can work properly - As long as it remains turned on.

If you shut down the computer, you will have many many issues to deal with. I eventually shut down the computer by accident in some way after having it running for several months.

I suspect all the issues are caused by the motherboard. I think some of the capacitors are not functioning properly. I watched a video about how every capacitor has a job to do, and it really seems like these are the problem to me. This is just speculation though.

PARTS (that Im using at the moment, dont feel like listing all the alternate parts I use)
- evega 430w power supply
- amd fx 6530 cpu
- asus M5A97 - Le R2.0 motherboard (this thing is a tank)
- Geforce gt 220 graphics card (one of the first of the geforce series, lol)

- 1 stick evega 8gb c9 1600 ram ( had 2 of these sticks but one broke)
- 1 stick 4gb hyperx ram

Now, sorry for switching between second and third person so much in a confusing way. Just made the most sense to me at the time.
