My computer was working fine (brand new bought in december of 2017) and one day it just opened up to a screen that said this message, i googled it and it said i needed to open up the bios menu by pressing f11 and i had no idea what i was supposed to do in there. Please let me know how i can resolve this problem.

Please post make and model computer, hardware specs, and OS.

In BIOS there should be a menu choice that lets you select the drive order that will be used to look for and find the drive with the desired OS.

C: drive, optical drive, USB flash drive. You can change the order as needed and you must be sure to save the change(s).

My thought is that the CMOS battery that provides power to help the laptop remember your boot drive selection/setting (and other settings as well) may be dead. Unusual as the battery should last longer than a year.

Do you see any date and time being displayed? If so is the date and time correct?
