Computer screen losing colour?

Hello, All the colour seems to be disappearing from my acer monitor. Just switched it on and everything is in shades of grey, black and light purple. Help - what can I do? Not very good with the technical stuff so if you could keep any advice fairly simple! Thanks

Re-seat the monitor cable. Try a new one if that did not work. Also make sure your video card and monitor connectors are not loose.

You may also be on acid, do you hear Pink Floyd anywhere in the area? Have you watched a 12 hour marathon of Yellow Submarine?
