Computer Screen Scrambled

Hi,

I'm hoping this is a graphics card issue. When I turned on my computer today the screen looks like when the cable goes out on the TV but with color. I tried several monitors but the same thing. If anyone can help me diagnose and fix, would be much appreciated.

That is a bit odd even for a video card issue, aside from different monitors, did you try a different cable or connector? A different video card? Try your card in another system? Is this the screen you see from boot or only after Windows loads?

It happens to me after i finish logging in and sometimes after startup

is it a hardware problem and if it is where should i fix?

DDU to uninstall gfx drivers

Possibly a bad timer or monitor refresh profile. Go into safe mode (Advanced boot options) and see if your desktop is restored. Then choose a known safe resolution @ 60Hz
