Computer screens go black

Hello i have a computer and the screens will both just go black at random times. somstimes the audio continues and sometimes it doesnt most times i can continue talking in a call or something.

I have tried:
Cleaning Dust with compressed air
Updating drivers
External Fans
Using only 1 monitor

It lasts longer depending on the game i play eg minecraft will last a few hours whereas rocketleague will last maybe 1 hour.

PC specs
(Intel)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX970
CPU: i5-3570k 3.40ghz (Water cooled)
RAM: 8GB

i have had this pc for about 3 years with no problems and then suddenly this pops up.

Please help!

Could be failing video card, overheating, failing power supply. Test the video card in another system, test another one with similar power draw in yours. What is the brand and model of the power supply?
