Okay, recently I upgraded my computer from a AMD A10 7850k and an MSI A55M-E33 motherboard to a AMD Ryzen 5 1600x, with an MSI Tomahawk b350 Motherboard also with a new Sandisk 120gb ssd for the OS. Now with my new hardware I feel like I'm getting the same performance as I was with my old stuff. I have the same Gtx 960 2g gaming GPU from msi that I re-used from my old rig. I've done a bit of research and I've been told that my Gpu is like bottlenecking 50% of my cpus capability. I don't know where to go from here. I don't make a lot of money, I've tried to sell the gpu I have and no one is interested. If you guys could give me an idea on what I should do I would really appreciate it.

I also want to stream and record, but my games like pubg, dayz, rust and even csgo always drop to like 30 fps.

Solution
I'm afraid thats the limitations of your GPU. The rest of your system is a great gaming system, but your GPU is medium level. It's a bit of a mismatch. You should think about saving the money for a GTX1060 6gb, or RX580 for that system. You would get a huge boost in FPS, and then the GPU won't be hit as hard when streaming either. Streaming does take a lot of resources so frame rate drops are expected. Some newer software claims to have low usage, but there will nearly always be some drop.

I appoligize for my language, I'm just upset with my system. Thanks for the guidance guys. :) Now since I would need a new gpu, how much can I look to get out of the 960 I have..price wise.

I've had it nearly 6 months now...and newegg has it price at 289...I knew I wouldn't get that much back but is it really only worth 100 bucks?

Here is a used 960 that someone is asking $95 for.

I don't know why you bought it for $289. If you really bought it for that much you massively overpaid. You can get a 1060 for around that, less if you get the 3GB version and even the 3GB version is more powerful than the 960.
