So basically I had just updated my windows 10. Started playing a game and then out of no where both of my monitors had this weird grey screen and my computer restarted. My left monitor said "out of range" but the right one worked. (Left monitor is using hdmi right one is using the weird hdmi hybrid plug thing, both connected to my gpu) I figured it was my gpu but Windows won't even boot up. It keeps trying to fix itself but doesn't find any problems and asks if I want to reset my pc. I try doing that and it encounters an error and starts to redo the changes. I switched motherboards thinking that night be the problem but it isn't.

I reinstalled windows 7 onto my secondary hdd instead of the original one I used for my os but it looks super glitchy like green horizontal lines across my screen. Idk what's going on and my computer is my life. I'm a video creator and I do 3d modeling/graphic design in my spare time so if it's completely dead idk what I'd do :l

Solution
your looking at two things that can cause your issues. one is a power supply that not holding within atx spec or is rippling out. use the mb bios to check the 3 main power supply rails. if the 12v is reading 11v in the bios try another power supply. the other issue could be ram on the gpu or the gpu card itself may have gone bad. as you did not post the gpu check to see if yours is one of the evga nvidia gpu. some of there higher end cards have heat issues with some of the vrm on the card causing the cards to just die or go up in flames. if you have one of these cards get your money back and get another brand of gpu.
