Okay, so I was Just doing normal computer stuff and watching a Linus Tech Tips Review. Suddenly (Out of nowhere) my computer shuts down, there's a small spark near the power supply and a pop. Now i thought all of my parts were now dead and i have to kill myself, but no. I take out the power supply plug and open up my computer to no smell of burning or anything of the sort, so I wonder what's wrong. Now what I did next was stupid, (Please don't scold me) I try to turn it on again. It turned on, then off, then on with 1 LONGGGGGG beeepand two short beeps. I instantly turn it off and google the beeps, and find out it's a graphics card issue..... (MY PRECIOUS!) So now i'm like "Oh well, my baby's dead. I look inside my case to see what's wrong with my GPU and turns out one of the PCIE connectors is out! The card is a "Gigabyte r9 270" and now when i Boot everything seems fine. Now my question is, do you think that would create a spark and pop? (BTW i think it was always loose and was bound to come out)

One of the PCIE connectors came out, i think it was loose

Ome of the 6 pin PCIE connectors came out

I would highly recommend to change the PSU; what make/model is your current one?

EDIT: it is also possible that your power cable is damaged.

Yes, the PSU should be fine; however, if the power cable have a sharp bend close to the PSU's input plug, it is possible that the inner wires briefly made contact with each other (I saw this happening even with the best power cables); did the wall plug fuse tripped or it was OK?

Everything else seems fine and I am using it right now, I read somewhere that the small spark can be from dust in the PSU, and the POP being the circuit breaker. Is that possible?
