Hello!

I was wondering if you could help me with something.
I have had my PC for about 2 years now and recently it has been shutting off randomly. Sometimes it can shut down in a couple of hours or a day.
I was wondering if it may have something to do with the power supply etc.

Your help will be much appreciated!

AMD A8-6600K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 3.90GHz
8GB RAM
64 Bit Windows 10
AMD Radeon R9 200 Series Graphic Card
1 TB HDD

I have never had a problem with it before, it has only started happening recently.

Also have a TX650 Power Supply. I thought it was something to do with the power supply and it being plugged in to an extension lead and not into the mains but that is not the problem as it is still turning off randomly. A fast reply is appreciated

If your shutdown happens totally randomly and not just when the computer is under load I would probably look at the power supply. The tx650 is a decnt psu however and it was likly not under much stress in that system unless you have a r9 290 or something. How old is that tx650? If the shutdowns occur only under load say gaming or something I might look at cpu temps, thermal shutdown occurs around 80-100c core temp on that cpu I belive

My PC fans and my core temp should be on this photo.
If the photo doesn't appear for some reason this is the temps etc.

Temp1 = 30C
Temp2 = -8C
Temp3 = 59C
HD0 = 24C
GPU = 27C
Core = 45C

Fan 1 = 3230 RPM
Fan2/3/4/5 = 0 RPM
GPU Fan = 1101 RPM

The psu I have got at the moment is roughly a year and half. I do not know what the problem is but when I am playing games it seems fine. It stays on for a couple of hours and randomly switches off.
