Computer shutdown

I can have the computer on for 5 minutes and then the fan starts to run REALLY high (like a little plane my son says) and then it shuts itself down and restarts!!! Please help me! Everything seems to run fine on it. I have done spyware and virus scans and it always says pretty much everything is alright.

I'd say either thermal or power problems. At any rate, it's something more fundamental than malware.

Is the CPU heatsink properly installed.

Need full computer specs to really help.
