So my computer has been shutting down the exact moment for a while, every time i got into a csgo match the second it finishes loading, the computer shuts down, now this doesnt happen always but it can happen 9 times in a row or a 1 time every day -or- when i alt tab in and out of a game, i read that zerocore is effective when alt taping out of a game, hense the title

When the computer shutsdown: Fans continue running, some fans seem a little louder but it could because i've been playing, the led light infront of the case will blink

Event viewer: Critical: event id:41 task category🙁63) kernel-power

When opening the computer: the computer will always, blink/no light and its fans will run and there will be no picture, i need to open and close the powersupply from the back very quickly and it open normally

My powersupply main power cord (the main motherboard cord) doesnt go all the way in, but i read somewhere that it's fine if the computer starts, which it was for a year and a half and then it started shutting down as above

System:

PSU: Corsair cx500
mobo:a78m-e35
CPU:athlon x4 760k
GPU:XFX hd7870
ram:2x corsair blue vengence 4gb
Hdd:WD Blue 500gb

Thanks in advance

Well if it seems like your PSU isn't holding up, then I would assume that's your problem.

When booting, without resetting your PSU, doesn't your computer ever not POST? What I mean by this, is an easy way to tell if your PSU is going bad, is if the computer only turns on properly sometimes. If a computer doesn't post, a bad mobo or PSU can sometimes be the cause.

What are your temps when you launch the game? For both GPU/CPU.
