I built my own computer with the following specs
-
EVGA Geforce GTX 1080 FTW GAMING ACX 3.0
Intel 7th Gen Intel Core Desktop Processor i7-7700K
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB-2 DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15
GIGABYTE GA-B250M-DS3H LGA1151 Intel Micro ATX DDR4
Corsair Hydro Series Cooling H75 Perfomance Liquid CPU Cooler
EVGA 600 B1 80+ Bronze 600W

It runs all games on the highest settings and for most games there is no problem. On some games however, mainly older titles, like Left4Dead2, Modern Warfare 2 and Dead Island, the computer crashes about 5 minutes after playing the game (most of the time after connecting to friends). Some newer games also like Rainbow 6 Siege and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 seem to have this issue every now and then. The fans will start being extremely loud and the input on my monitors will be disconnected. All audio is still received for about another 10-60 seconds after this until it just completely stops. The input never comes back and eventually the fans stop being as loud but the computer remains on the entire time. I check the temperature in BiOS immediately after and it all seems normal. What is happening and how would I go about fixing it?
