I have some weird issue where my computer shuts off when I'm not doing things such as gaming or using a music player. I don't think it's overheating because it would do that when I'm gaming right? It's not hot at all and it's PERFECTLY fine when I'm on a game. But as soon as I'm just simply browsing the web, or not doing anything, it shuts off sometimes.

Sounds like you are using haswell or skylake processors and a low end power supply. Either disable haswell sleep states (c6/7) in your BIOS (read the motherboard manual) or replace the power supply with a unit that supports sleep states
