A couple days ago my pc started turning off by itself and I don't think it was due to overheating because the CPU and GPU temperatures were always below 70C.
After this happened a few times the fans and lights would work but there would be no display output and the CPU ez debug light was on.

I replaced the CPU with another i7 7700k and it worked great for a couple hours before it shut down again.
I have not turned the computer back on as I am worried it may damage the new cpu.

I would like to know what might be causing the issue or a possible fix. Thanks.

Are you overclocking anything (CPU, GPU, memory)?

Are you using the stock Intel CPU cooler?

Do you know your CPU and GPU operating temperatures at idle and under load (when it was running)?
I use a coolermaster hyper 212 evo for my cpu cooler and nothing is overclocked.
Temps under load are under 70-75C which should be fine for these parts.
