I upgraded my graphics card from GTX 980 TI to GTX 1080 and now when I play Far Cry 5 my computer will randomly shut down within the first couple minutes before I can even get out of the menus and into the game and then it turns itself back on. This happened one time about a week ago, but when I turned it back on I could play the game for hours without a problem so I ignored it. Now tonight it happened again. When I installed the card, I did not do a clean install of the drivers; instead I had just chosen the clean install option on Geforce Experience when I got the new drivers. Just now I used DDU to do a proper clean install of the drivers and the problem happened again. On DDU I had chosen the first option Clean and Restart, but there is a Clean and Shutdown option it says for installing a new card, should I do it again but using that option? Is there really a difference? Or is something else wrong here?
