Computer shutting down while playing games?

I have a computer that is around one year old and it is shutting down when I play games. Not all games, so far the only games it has shut down during have been Counter Strike: Global Offensive and StarCraft 2. It has not shut down during other games such as Gary's Mod or Bioshock Infinite. It happens at seemingly random points, ranging from 15 minutes in, to 4 hours in. Please tell me what you think could be causing this, any advice is appreciated

Your computer could be overheating. When a computer overheats 99% of the time, it will shut itself off to save the components in your computer. My old laptop used to do that all the time.

what settings are you trying to play? If you are on high, lower your settings and see if that helps.

Not quite sure... How could I find this out?

Look on the label on the PSU. There should be a brand and a model number listed there along with the units specifications. If you can see the label you may need to unscrew the four fasteners that attach it to the back of the case and turn the unit so the label can be seen.
