Question computer slow and laggy

I recently moved my old alien ware aurora 6 to a custom case but as I did it I fried the motherboard no big deal after realizing I needed anew one because the custom alien ware broad didn't have front panel connectors so I got the MSi Z270 PC Mate for intel I put my intel i7-7700 with a 1070 gforce graphics card but now everything runs slow and games like modern warfare crash but dont leave crash reports. help I dont know what is going on.

That can be an issue. Id reseat cooler.
