Computer sometimes freezes then crashes and my Motherboard is at 118°C

Like I said in the title my PC sometimes randomly freezes then crashes like once or twice a week. Seems to happen mostly directly after startup but strangely gaming doesn't seem to be a problem which is why I hadn't considered a hardware fault. However after installing some monitoring software I discovered that my motherboard seems to be close to melting point. Any idea why this is happening?Here is a picture of the data (keep in mind this is while idle)[strike][/strike]

Try running Speccy. It will be easier to identify what in your system is overheating.
