Question computer/sound lag

Hi all,

I recently got issue with the sound coming out of my headset as there is from time to time an echo or suddenly there is no sound at all. I initially tought there was an issue with my headset, but since this week my system/programs are slow and laggy. Interestingly at the moment of writing, I got as well a Windows error(stopcode : Unexepcted_Kernel_Mode_Trap).

I was thinking if you guys could have a first look, before I would go to a computer repair shop.

Computer itself was build last December by a computer store. I only did the Windows install.

Are the computer free for malware? Have you installed drivers yourself that you was not completely sure was from the official source?

Bullguard anti virus didnt dedect anything.
I only installed today some new drivers to check if that would solve the issue. The only recent update there was this week was a Windows update. I try to reverse this update, but that didnt help.

What are the options before I go on Monday to computer repair? Should I try to reset Windows or do an advanced start-up?

I'd think you have some sort of guarantee that still active. So that's probably the best option overall.
