Computer starts but no display?

So, yesterday I built a PC for the first time using Jackfrags' build - http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7WQxr59KRto

When I turned it on, there was no display on the screen. So, i checked inside and noticed the graphics card fans keep stopping and starting every 10 seconds or so, also the heatsink/CPU fan seems to be running very slowly too.

I havent had much experience with computers, so I dont even know where to start when looking for the cause of these problems. Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure everything is plugged in properly and securely AND in the right slots!
If it doesn't work then your graphics card may be faulty.
Is your CPU heatsink stock, or aftermarket?

Everything looks to be in the correct place... Ill go over it again in case I missed something. I'm using the heatsink that came with the CPU. I dont have a motherboard speaker, but I could get one today. Would that help?

A motherboard speaker would possibly help to diagnose where the problem is although it's not necessary by any means. Have you tried reseating everything? (including the CPU also check the CPU pins and the CPU socket).

CPU looks fine. I just reseated everything and checked that everything is plugged in correctly. Still having the same problems :/

I think at this point you need a speaker and then follow this guide -
