Computer starts, but no video output

I just built a PC and it starts, but it doesn't show any video but the TV shows that it recieves a signal. So wouldn't that be a sign that all the components are working properly? I've tried replugging all the connectors, taking out the videocard and starting the computer and it still doesn't show any video. What could be the problem?

It didn't work, sadly, still same problem. It shows that it's pluged in, but it doesn't give out any signal

Damn hmm. Well you said you plugged it in to the TV did you actually mean Tv or monitor

EDIT: When your turn it on does it beep? and does everything run like fans etc

I've tried both and I've reconected everything and pretty much done everything. It doesn't beep and everything seems to be working fine. I'm going to call the Tech support of the company I bought the thing from and ask if I can send it in and have them take a look at it. I got it two days ago so they'll pay for shippinh and everything

yeah sorry to hear about that bud. I know the last feeling you want when you build a PC is it not to work probably.
