I tried taking out the battery for 12h, but still nothing. And yes, i already checked that all cables are connected properly. Here are my specs:

cpu 6700k
gpu gtx 980ti
psu 750W
storage M.2 ssd
ram 16GB hyperX ddr4
mobo z170a Krait gaming
cpu cooler noctua nh d15
Can you help me? i dont know where to start... :(

Just something, make sure that you have connected your VGA/DVI into the graphics card to start with, if your trying to boot with a HDMI on first startup you may require Graphics Drivers to be able to display through HDMI.
So boot with a VGA/DVI/DVI-D first, install graphics drivers then you can go ahead with HDMI.

I have tried with DVI on two different screens, and also tried with HDMI on two different screens. Its still just black, like theres no input. Could the M.2 be causing problems? its my first time installing m.2

PCI-E M.2? it shouldn't cause any problems, you've made sure that the card has power from Power supply also? there should be an 8 Pin and a 6 Pin powering the card. Its very likely that its just a loose connection somewere, take the card out and reseat it and make sure that the PCI-E lock clicks in properly then screw the bracket down then reconnect DVI

No, I installed it on an m.2 connection directly on the motherboard. But i followed the instructions given on the motherboard manual. So, i mean it shouldnt cause any problems. It should still start up without any storage connected to it, shouldnt it?

Yes, it should just display that you need to connect a bootable source, easiest thing to do to see if its the GPU, take it out and connect directly to the board using VGA. This will decide whether its a problem with the GPU that your using.

Well i tried connecting it directly to the board after removing the GPU, and still nothing. I have no case speaker installed, so I cant hear if there are any beep sounds. So i might try using a voltmeter to see if i can read the spikes in voltage instead
