Hello!

I figured that I would ask you guys here if you could help me, because I don't really know anything about computers.

So this issue started to happen few days ago. So when I go to play, it runs very smoothly as it always have, but after I play for 10-30 minutes, my fps drops to 20-40 from 180 (CSGO) and to 5-20 from 120 (Tribes: Ascend).

It only stops when I exit the game and wait for a few minutes, (sometimes I need to wait only minute, sometimes 5, and sometimes it doesn't stop untill I restart the computer) and if I go back to the game it runs again very smoothly and then this lag starts.

I think its not thermal issue, because I have been monitoring those and GPU is 70-85 and CPU is like something 50-60. I also have cleaned my computer from dust recently.

Sometimes my computer starts to lag so badly that blue screen comes in with some "Crash dump" text and I need to restart computer.

I have run avast virus scan, and Malwarebytes anti-malware scans many times and they don't find anything.

I have checked Task manager when lags start to happen, and memory is something like 2.7-3.5GT and CPU usage something like 10-70%. Although, I have seen GPU usage going to 99% when these lags happen and all my 4 cores of CPU going 90%, so I don't think where task manager gets those 10-70%.

I have newest AMD drivers (crimson edition beta, can't find more older drivers)
I have tried to disable anti virus. I have tried to put fan speeds to 80% and limit fps (100 in csgo, 90 in tribes) and it still does that.

Computer specs:
AMD Radeon HD 6850
Intel i5-2300 CPU @ 2.8GHZ 4 cores
1000GB memory, (500 free) and 8GB RAM

I can provide more info if asked.

you need to check your gpu clock speeds. once your temp gets around 85-90 degrees your gpu will automatically slow itself down to lower temps. This results in lower fps. Afterburner is a good program to check for this this.

I dont think thats the issue.. Because I have tested to play with fan speeds as 80% so temps go to 60-70 and still it does that.. I have afterburner but It only shows it as a 775 (core clock) and 1000 (memory clock) and not changing.
