Computer starts slow

Ok so i got windows 10 and it starts pretty slow. Im not sure what would be causing this. Would it be my hard drive dying or could it be my cpu or motherboard dying im not sure what i need to do.

Also here are my specs:
i5-3570k
8gb ram
1tb hdd
radeon 7950 3gb


If you have any ideas please help me my pc is also freezing alot and programs are slow to open and sometimes just crash

if you just installed win10 and you didnt do a clean install, do a clean install. back up all your stuff, and start fresh. so many ppl have issues after upgrading to win10 because they just did the upgrade

My suggestion would be to just test your HDD with some of these and post the results: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility
In case there is something wrong with the drive, you need to back up the data stored on it as soon as possible.
