Hi there, I have a laptop that is about 3 years old now (running windows 10 now) that came with a 1TB HDD and 20Gb SDD already installed in it. It has started slowing down a lot when it starts up. I've heard that you can transfer where the computer starts up to a SDD, but nothing that I've read online talk about the SDD already being installed.

I'm relatively intuitive when it comes to computers, but I don't know very much about how to do the basics, so if any explanations that come could be as thorough as possible, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there, Josh!

@getochkn is right, unfortunately, your 20 GB of SSD is not enough for the operating system. I'd recommend you to consider upgrading it or try using it as a cache for your 1 TB HDD as it was already suggested. Here are a couple of tutorials you might find useful:

Hope it helps. Best of luck! :)
