First time builder here. I recently completed my build and ran into some issues that I'm having a hard time trying to find a solution to.

Current Specs:
Case - thermaltake V3 VL80001W2Z Black Edition
CPU - AMD FX-6300 3.5ghz 6-Core
Mobo - MSI 970A-G46 ATX AM3+
GPU - Zotac GeForce GTX 750 Ti
RAM - G.SKILL Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1600
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM
BD/DVD Drive - ASUS BC-12B1ST Internal 12X Blu-Ray Reader & 16X DVD Writer Combo Drive
PSU - EVGA 500W Bronze Plus
Monitor - Samsung SyncMaster B2030

I built the computer last week and installed everything correctly into the case. The proper lights start up, the fans on everything that should work are functioning properly, and it pretty much runs smoothly. However, I'm getting no display on my monitor. I keep getting a "Check Signal Cable: Analog" box on my monitor despite it being plugged into the Digital slot. I know it's not my monitor as I use it for my XBOX 360. I've looked for solutions but I can't find anything that works. Here's what I've tried:

  • Cleaned out PCI-E slot with a can of compressed air
    Re-seated the RAM and GPU
Removed everything from the case and put it back in
Tested the computer using the DVI-D and HDMI slots in two different monitors
    Reset the CMOS jumper (twice)

I'm getting real frustrated about all this. I don't have enough money to replace any parts in my build (I'm 17 with a low paying job in Canada), so I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Solution

You can either look into the bios for that or do the next,

Download the next program=hwinfo32,

http://www.hwinfo.com/download32.html

You can open hwinfo32,after that open the sensor window by marking sensors=V,after that click run.In thsi window you can find the values you need.

Sorry for the noobish question, but how do I check the readings?
