Computer starts up, no BIOS POST, no monitor activity, case fans are not running, LED dim, CPU fan on.. please help!

I woke up this morning and booted my computer I had built 6 months ago to have it startup with no POST , no monitor.. I was worried.. Checked ram sticks and all power supply cords and they were all sound, here is where it gets wierd. My CPU fan is running so it took me a while to realize my case fan was not but when I did I was not excited.. My case fans were off on every single side (all 3) and my LED on the front was very dim compared to usual.. When i went to power down my computer the fans spun for a split second and the LED brightened.. Keeps doing that when I shut it off.

What should i do.. I am pretty sure all my hardware is ok because the signs point to power getting everywhere and most things on my motherboard are working or on excluding the case stuff.

Please help!

You can try to clear the CMOS by removing the battery or using the jumper. And try to boot the pc again. If the PC still does not boot.

The CMOS reset did not do anything but i'm going through the list now...

What are your complete system specs? My guess would be a PSU failure. A PSU can fail to the point where it can provide enough power to spin a fan, but not power the system.

Gpu : radeon R9 4gb
Cpu: i7 4790k haswell
Psu: Evga 750w g2
Case: coolermaster HAF
Ram:g.skill ddr3 4gb ripjaw
Cpu cooler: Coolermaster evo 212

I think you might be right about PSU failure.. How do i test that?

My psu cords are all black.. No coloured ones at all.

Then you need to count the position, because the 24 pin atx power connector has standard format, they are same. http://www.smps.us/atx-connector-20-24pin.jpeg

Yeah I did the test and the fan did not turn on and it was not on Eco mode.. Does that mean that the psu was the issue?

I just find the video from the evga http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=220-G2-0750-XR the PSU come with the psu test part, you can use it for the paper clip test, but anyway because the psu is not on the eco mode, if the fan does not spin when you did the test, that means the psu has problem, call evga because it has 10 yr limited warranty.
