Hi,
I have read threads on this forum on PSU's and other startup problems without an answer to my specific problem.

When I first try starting my computer, after it has been off overnight, it will not start when I hit my power button. If I turn the PSU's rocker switch on then off, I can start the computer fine. I am not experiencing any spotanteous shut downs or reboots, so I think my PSU may be working fine.

If I shut the computer and power down, then restart it, it turns on fine without me having to turn the rocker switch on and off.

Any thoughts as to why this my be suddenly happening?

Thanks in advance:)

1| Due to the nature of troubleshooting, it's customary to provide the suspect system's (full)specs inclusive of your OS and connected peripherals.
2| Have you made sure your BIOS is up to date while the remaining device drivers namely chipset are up to date?
3| Have you tried (with the system powered down and mains turned off)unplugging your components, breadboarding them and then trying to replicate the issue?
4| I could speculate a grounding issue though that will only be possible to say if another system in your room experienced the same exact issue after a whole days of use.
