I have recently wiped my hard drive because I got a new SSD so I wanted to install windows on the SSD. I have 3 drives

128 GB Crucial M4 SSD
2TB 7200rpm seagate barracuda
500GB 7200rpm seagate barracuda

The SSD and the 500gb work fine but whenever I connect the 2TB and start my pc up it get stuck on the bios screen and it won't let me push any buttons to use the BIOS. I've tried changing ram unplugging drives changing SATA slots and power connectors to the drives, also I've tried only having the 2tb connected and it still gets stuck. No it is not set to boot the 2tb. The HDD drive worked fine until after I wiped it using wipedrive but I don't believe thats what messed it up. any help is appreciated I don't want to buy a new HDD please someone help me fix this!!

He meant to try something like this: http://gparted.sourceforge.net/

Can you try hooking up the drive externally? Letting your system boot up then plugging the drive in.

What I meant was, unplug all the drives, except the 2 TB HDD, now bootup the PC with a bootable media in ODD, and try to format the drive, provided if it not hangs up. If the HDD still hangs up then I am afraid the HDD is gone for good. Ofcourse you can try the HDD on another system to see if it works.
