I was having some slow internet connection and I had a spare lan card at my place so I decided to connect it and see if it fixes the issue. I installed it into the slot and when I was putting the internet cable in it popped out of the socket and my computer shut down. I took out the lan card immediately and tried to power on the pc again. The first time I powered it on it showed me an error, some sort of Master disk - none, Slave disk - none. This stayed there for a couple of more attempts to power on the computer. After a few tries it was stuck on bios screen and it wouldnt go any further. I could access the bios but everything was loading very slowly. The next time I powered on the computer it was stuck on the bios screen ( motherboard intro , which is GA-MA770-US3 if it matters ) and no matter what I press on the keyboard it stays there and refuses to go any further. I tried to reset the cmos by removing the battery but I couldnt get it out of the socket. Ive done this on like 50 different computers, but this one doesnt pop up no matter how hard I try I dont know how that is. I tested the ram by running kits one by one on different slots - no result. Tried 2 different Power Supplies - Dandy 450w and Fortron 350w which was supplying the components with power until yesterday. I tried to run it without the video card aswell but it didnt do any good. I think I killed the motherboard when the lan card got out of the socket, or the HDD is broken, but it is heating up and makes some sounds so I think its the motherboards fault. Im looking for some solution to the problem only in hardware matter, because I cant turn it on therefore I cant run anything on it. I dont have any spare parts to test or atleast as new as these ones are. I dont want to be blamed for what happened, I realise now that it was stupid, but it is what it is. If you can tell me for sure that the motherboard is fried atleast I would know whats wrong with the computer. Will not be happy about it but
I will accept it.
I saw a lot of threads on this forum about this but none of them has any answers that I havent tried. When I touch the motherboards heatsink it is hot, and cpu's cooler and gpu are working fine as far as I can tell. Im open to any suggestions that would lead to fixing this. Thank you very much if you took the time to read this, god bless.

On my last pc I had a similiar problem and it was the cpu believe it or not. Well unfortunately I dont have money to purchase a new one so I will noy have a pc for awhile I guess. Im still open to suggestions if anyone of you think that it is not fried and there is a way of fixing it. Thanks for the attention.
