Question Computer stuck on BIOS after updating motherboard (ROG STRIX B550-F)

So for context this is my first PC (gaming) and I built it around a year and a half ago. This motherboard always gave me an issue for not having wifi so I use a wifi card.

One of the games I wanted to play had an anti-cheat that prevented me from opening the game (FACEIT). Said I need secure boot, looked at some videos and it said I needed to turn on UEFI OS type in the boot settings. My issue was it was already turned on and came to the conclusion to update the motherboard.

I've never done it before, saw a video, got the latest update on a flashdrive, opened bios, and ran it through the ASUS EX FLASH 3 utility. It downloaded and rebooted, nothing really changed but it said it had version 3002. So i thought it was all set but after exiting the bios screen it didn't open windows and just went back to the bios again, I tried resetting the settings to no avail, just goes back to bios.

I went through some tabs and it looks like it still detects my 2 1tb ssds but should I try unscrewing them out and in again (both m.2)? I'm just lost as I'm not familiar with going through bios. Apologies if the post is sloppy this is my first.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

It downloaded and rebooted,
You flash the BIOS manually, having the BIOS file on the root directory of a thumb drive and you use the utility within the BIOS to flash the existing BIOS chip with the BIOS file on the USB drive.

Turn to page 3-4, section 3.5, Asus CrashFreeBIOS 3 and follow through the steps to see if reflashing the BIOS like so revives your platform.

3002 is the latest version for that motherboard so it looks like you've successfully updated the BIOS without "bricking" the computer.

Although you haven't noticed any changes, updating the BIOS often deletes some/all of your custom settings, including the drive boot order. Chances are your BIOS is no longer pointing at your boot drive.

Do NOT remove either of your 1TB SSDs at this stage. Instead, locate the section in the BIOS where you can select the boot drive.

This will probably contain two sections entitled "M.2 + part number of your SSD" (assuming both SSDs are M.2 NVMe). You may also see references to "UEFI and Windows" associated with one/both of the SSDs.

There should be at least one entry (possibly two entries) for each bootable drive. The drive at the top of the list is the one selected for booting. If this is a non-bootable drive, you'll have to highlight another other drive entry and move it up to the top of the list.

Since the system isn't booting at the moment, choose a new entry from the boot list, press F10 to Save and Quit, then see if the system boots up. If you have any USB memory sticks or USB hard drives plugged in, disconnect them to avoid confusion.

If it doesn't boot, go back into the BIOS and select another entry. Work your way down the list until you've tried all entries for the two SSDs. One of them should work.

I don't suppose you can remember if you installed Windows a year and a half ago in "UEFI" or "Legacy/CSM" mode? If the new BIOS is set to boot in UEFI mode but the boot drive was configured in CSM mode, you'll need to toggle that setting too.

Sorry if this all sounds too complicated! The Asus manual isn't much help.

When I press the boot tab there's 3 options I can go through
Boot Configuration
CSM (Compatability Support Module)
Secure Boot
and I have two more options underneath but they are grayed out, one was Boot Option Priorities and the last one was Boot Override.
I couldn't find anything under the selectable tabs but I tried looking through exmode and there was an option for Boot Menu but when I pressed it I got a notification saying The system cannot find any bookable devices.

Edit: I also have no idea what mode I downloaded windows, I tried changing the CSM mode but it still just goes back to bios

It was CSM, I am deeply embarrassed, thank you
