A few days ago my computer randomly started stuttering, video only. Audio is fine when it does it regardless of what i am doing, Gaming/Youtube, screen visibly stutters but audio is unaffected. I tried restarting initially but it did not help.
Did some googling and most people seemed to point at the CPU. Using Open Hardware Monitor to monitor CPU, just sitting with a couple of google chrome windows open and loaded my CPU (i7-6700k) idles at around 4108-4208MHz, occasionally dropping to ~900 for split seconds on random cores. Not sure if this is indicative of a problem or not, doesn't seem to occur with the stuttering. CPU load will idle at ~2-8%, but when it does stutter if i can catch the Hardware monitor fast enough i can see it in the 60%+ range, with a recorded max of 100% which i figure is a problem.
Ran a test on userbenchmark.com, these are the results https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/14960644#PROCESSOR
Nothing is overheating at anytime, and this only just started in the last few days after approximately two years of flawless running since i built it. I do leave the computer running a lot and i know i shouldn't but my internet connection is atrocious and routine updates for the games i play regularly run me several hours minimum, with game downloads taking days so i need to leave it up for updates/downloads while i sleep or work. Was looking for input on whether or not this looks like i need to put a new CPU in or it may be something else, hopefully simple. I built this computer but i don't work on them enough to be very skilled with the internals.

Thanks in advance.
