Computer suddenly become very slow when playing games

My screen si freezing or i am experiencing very less fps ..both online and offline games..while playing steam games my screen goes black but i can hear sound..i have to remove battery to restart pc...i disassembled my laptop and cleaned cooling fan and noticed heatsink copper is turned black at least half of it...what should i do..can anyone help me?

It could possibly be your monitor, or if you use a graphics card it possibly is damaged. Try to use a different monitor to see if there is a difference

Overheating can cause this, buy a new heatsink assembly, install it using quality thermal paste.
