I ha e an old PC with the Asrock G41m-VS3 R2.0, a Pentium 4 CPU and 4GB of RAM.

First it showed a wired symptom of turning itself on randomly after being shutdown, so I used to unplug the power to avoid that.
Then one day I pressed power and it didn't turn on, until like the 10th time I did that it powered on!

Then it stopped powering on at all.

I bought a new case - mine was heads old - plugged in the new PSU and BAM, nothing!

I tried reseating the RAM and using a single stick in each slot, nothing.

How should I go with go with troubleshooting this? Is it the motherboard? If yes how do I know what exactly is the problem?

I don't think a old PC like that is worth wasting more money on start saving for something more up to date. You could start with a Ryzen 3 2200G and add pieces from there.

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 3 2200G 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($98.79 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: MSI - B450M PRO-VDH Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($63.98 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($67.89 @ OutletPC)
Total: $230.66

Thanks for your reply.
However I'm not planning to spend money now on a new PC and I need it to work immediately.
It's worth mentioning that I live in the Middle East so prices will be quite more than that.
I'm also learning computer repair as a hobby so I wanted to try and get my hands dirty with this one 🙂
