Computer suddenly not showing up on TV

I used a Hdmi on my new computer and it was working fine yesterday. i was moving today and my step dad was teasing how protective i am of my computer and was hitting it not hard but not soft either near where the hdmi gets pluged in. It turns on normally and i tested the hdmi cord and tv by connecting it to a ps3 and it worked fine. could it be anything simple or did he break my motherboard connection?

Test on another monitor and see if that works. Do you have another cable to use other than HDMI?

i dont own a monitor i use hd tvs. im not aware of another way to hook it up besides hdmi. but i can try another tv. i already tried 2 hdmi cords. and my ps3 worked perfect.

Does your pc have a gpu or is it integrated graphics only?

i got it working wiggling the motherboard fixed it for some reason
