My friend has given me his old-ish computer. Checked it worked at his house yesterday, ran a few things, no problems at all. Got it to my house turned it on, but my monitor says no signal. Fans are spinning and it's getting warm. Not touched a single thing since we had it running. Monitor definitely works, hdmi definitely works. Any Ideas?

I don't know the specs, other than it's a 1060 graphics card, sorry. HDMI is plugged into that and not mobo, just double checked.

Have you transported it anywhere between the time it worked and now? If you carried it down the street or just threw it in the back seat, then the GPU could have been damaged because the only thing supporting it is the PCIe slot itself and a couple screws, at the I/O port. I had to RMA a GPU after I forgot to take it out on a 600 mile move. You need to hot swap a monitor or cable to make sure it's not the ones you're using.

Also, when you tun it on, do you hear the POST beep?
