Computer takes 3 times to wake up from sleep.

I have a PC that I built about 6 months ago, and just recently it's run into an issue when waking up from Sleep Mode. It turns on for a second, and off for a second. This happens twice before waking up on the third time. It also takes a little while longer than it used to to load into the OS when it finally does start.

This problem only happens when waking up from Sleep Mode. Turning the computer on from a full shut down is just as quick as it's always been, and always boots on the first try.

The computer is not overclocked, and I haven't messed with any BIOS settings recently so I'm lost as to what might be the cause.

All components were purchased new about 6 months ago.

System components:

Intel 4790k
EVGA Nvidia 980 SC
Asus Maximus XII Hero
G. Skill 2133 16GB
EVGA 750W
CM Seidon 240mm liquid cooling
Samsung 128GB SSD

Any help is appreciated folks!

I'm currently running Windows 10. And yes, for now, shutting down seems to be my only option, but I would just prefer that I wasn't putting my components under the stress of full shutdowns and startups multiple times a day.

Thanks for the suggestions buddy. Tried to type in the first set of command prompts, and it said "Unable to perform operation. An unexpected error (0x65b) has occurred: Function failed during execution."
and the second set of command prompts gave the response "invalid parameters"

Not sure where to go from here, might just have to live with the issue until a hardware issue presents itself if that is the case. I really appreciate you taking the time to research this for me sir. You've already gone above and beyond the call of duty lol.

I had this issue 3 years ago and was driving me crazy, I thought I fixed it by changing the CPU C-states to enable from Auto.

Fast forward three years later and the issue is back and changing the CPU C-states from Auto to enable doesn't fix it this time so not sure if that actually fixed it back then.

After all this time and now it suddenly comes back, always starts on the third attempt. This is driving me nuts.

When the PC starts on the third attempt it actually restarts and doesn't wake up from the sleep state.

If I turn on hibernation with it will restart but then continue from the saved with Hybrid start I believe.

I don't want to use that as I might as well just turn it iff and let it restart just once.
