My build:-
Iball Marathon 500 watt
AMD FX 8320 8 cores

while playing watch dogs on HIGH settings my desktop screen shut off once, its a red flag so i turned off the game.
Info acc to OPEN HARDWARE MONITOR.

my cpu Temps I THINK ARE FINE right now while typing this they are
GPU temp :- 40 deg Celsius
cpu temp all 8 cores :- 20 deg celsius

NOW while playing Watchdogs they spike to :-
Gpu :- 70 - 80 degree Celsius
Cpu :- 81 degree Celsius

i really know nothing abt over heating etc, i require your help in this , is my Pc over heating ???
another thing acc to ASUS GPU TWEAK
while playing games
my gpu clock
memory clock
processor clock
they get AT MAX ! i mean the radar is literally at top !
id love to know the Problem through you guys and How to Fix it , i dont wanna Ruin my pc.

P.S i installed graphics card like 3 weeks ago , i dont think much Dust have Gathered in since then.

And while i play Tomb raider Reboot
my gpu temps are between 60 - 70 Degree Celsius.

Solution
It's probably your PSU.
It's really low quality.
The 760 uses around 400W under full load with the entire system.Your PSU is capable of giving maybe 350W instead of 500W.
You should get a new PSU.
XFX TS 550W is a great option and it is a high quality and a very reliable PSU.
All the best. 😉

Solution
Firstly, watch dogs is very poorly coded for computers and therefore takes the CPU usage to very high on high-ultra (80-100%) and sadly AMD FX are known to heat up pretty fast. You most probably need a good CPU cooler like CM EVO 212.
That CPU temp while playing WD is on the high side, quite high I'd say. Just ensure, that along with a good CPU cooler, you have adequete airflow in your case.

As for GPU, 80C under high load is fine, unless it gets higher. Moreover, Tomb Raider is a lot better game, coding wise, and so does not load the CPU and GPU as high as WD.

All you need is a CPU cooler.

Also, your PSU will most probably fail under high Wattage requirements (when you OC or under very high CPU and GPU loads). But getting a CPU cooler should be the first priority to calm the CPU temps down. Then get atleast a 550-600W PSU of higher quality from Antec/ EVGA/ SeaSonic/ Super Flower/ XFX to ensure no further damage.
