Computer truning off and on

When I switch my computerus on with out the cpu power supply in the motherboard it switches on perfectly but once I put the cable to supply power to the cpu it switches off ? What is happening ?

What happens if removing all RAMs and starting the board? Still same restarts?

Thanks alexoiu , all I did was put the ram in the second slot and it turned on
