Computer turned off and won't turn back on.

I was on the character screen in WoW and my system immediately turned off and I'm unable to turn it back on.

I tried new outlets and power strips, I reconnected my cable connecting to the power supply and outlets.

I'm trying to disconnect the psu 24 pin cord from my motherboard to test my power supply with the paper clip method and my catch lever on the 24 pin cord has no room to be pressed to release of the motherboard's psu port.

I could use help with figuring out how to get the 24 pin cord off the motherboard and if it's not a psu issue what other ways could I be able to test what hardware is malfunctioning.

Your image links do not work. If you are getting no power, or lights, chances are it is your power supply. Even seasonic makes a dud now and then. It could be the motherboard as well. You might have to take the system apart and try running it outside of your case.

Below are the pictures I tried to link in my original post. These photos show the release lever on the psu cord that goes into the motherboard. My lever has no room to be pushed back and therefore won't lift out.

So I finally got the psu cord on plugged and when I did the paper clip test to check and see if my psu is working it didn't turn on. I'm assuming a psu problem and I guess I should go ahead and order another psu.

Is there anything else I could check to see if it malfunctioned while I'm at it and waiting for a new psu.
