I have been looking for a fix for over 2 weeks now and nothing has worked. Apologies if there was info somewhere out there already and I missed it.

Specs
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 (Stock cooler Wraith Stealth?)
GPU: XFX Speedster MERC319 6950 XT (I know its a mismatch with CPU but recent upgrade and buying CPU soon)
Mobo: Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro Wi-Fi Rev 1.0
Memory: T-Force Vulcan Z 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3200MHz

My system turns off randomly while playing but all the fans and RGB from motherboard remained on/spinning the EZ Debug LEDs were flashing though. The DRAM LED stayed on for 1 second and then alternated to CPU LED for a fraction of a second and then immediately back to DRAM for 1 second, endless cycle. Upon powering off by holding down power button, I could start PC back up and everything would work fine. As soon as I load the game back up a time bomb starts, anywhere from 5 - 20 minutes later it does it again. The game in particular that does it consistently is called Techtonica, strangely enough it lasts longer when I play online with a friend, anywhere from 1 - 3 hours before doing it. Have also had it happen in Payday 3, GTA online, and COD Warzone 2 but only Techtonica does it consistently. If I am playing other games besides those 4 or just using my PC for coursework it will work indefinitely for multiple days being on straight.

- I have tried reseating the RAM, including using my old 2 x 8 GB kit on different slots, as well as using only a single stick and still the issue continued no matter the configuration.
- Ran the memory diagnostics tool and it came up with no issues.
- Cleared CMOS
- Q. Flash updated my bios from F30 - F32 - F63
- Fresh windows install
- Event Viewer shows that it knows an unexpected shutdown happened but it doesnt actually say anything, or at least I dont know how to find that info

Willing and able to upload logs or such that may be needed, I am just unsure what kind of logs would be needed

Sensor logs <- started it just before opening game and left it running until my PC eventually did the random shut off

It could be your PSU failing or creating an unstable system
Perhaps, I still have my old PSU from before i bought the gpu upgrade but I cant test that psu in this system its only a 550W so it would likely not be able to power the 6950XT. But at least to me it seems unlikely that its a PSU failure if its only in certain games, while the system works for everything else and even far more demanding tasks work fine like some of the 3D environments i work on in UE5 pushing my PC to the max. no?

Regardless I was thinking about ordering a PSU to test just incase.
