Computer turning off

Recently my computer's been turning off on its own whenever ive been playing anything processor intensive (CS:GO, COD world at war in particular). My computer turns off and needs to be unplugged for about an hour before it can be turned back on. Once its turned on however i can watch netflix, start downloads, and do just about anything except game. The top fan on my Antec 1200 case also wont start anymore, ive checked the connection and it's fine. I'm unsure whether the trouble is with the PSU, CPU, heat sinc, or what. Please help

How are the temps on the cpu, gpu and mb?

they're about 30-40 degrees, depending on what im doing

what psu do you have?

1000W, not sure what model but PSU and all other hardware componebts are about 2 and a half years old,
