Computer Turning on and off

I had just installed a new mobo CPU and Graphics card into my custom pc and whenever i press the power button all the fans start to go and the led's come on and then 2 seconds later it just stops. This happens everytime i turn it on. HELP????

Does it need to have a disc drive in it for it to start running??

Hello... 1) try re-seating your memory sticks.
2) Try one stick of memory.
3) Check your MB manual/PDF for proper memory and or placement of the memory.

I reinstalled the ram. Still doing the same thing. I dont know what to do. There is no disc drive in at the moment either could that be a problem?

Update: I found there was a second place for a power connector and plugged it in and now it stays on for about 1 min and there is no display in that time. What do I do now?

i looked through that and i just did that yesterday when i put this all together. Are there any other solutions?

Try ging back to the original GPU

I figured it out. It has something to do with the ram and also i had to mess with some stuff with the reset switch and power button wires to the mobo. Also is there a reason why my computer would boot up with a certain stick of ram and not another which is the same brand and capacity. I bought them both yesterday i dont see how it could be bad

Getting bad sticks right out of the package does happen, not often, but have seen it.

Well what other reason would there be for it to make the system not display anything?

If using a GPU, may not have the power plugged in or plugged in fully, might not have the 4/8 pin power cable to the mobo plugged in fully or at all, same with 24pin connector, CPU not seated correctly, might have a short from a missing standoff or a loose screw in the standoff, there's lots of possibles which is why I suggested benching it and going through each step
