Computer turns off and on when when pressing the power button.

So lately, by computer started doing this weird thing were when I press the power button to boot it, it turns on for a second, turns off, and then turns on back again in like 2 seconds. After that it just boots just fine and works perfectly. Anyone had this issue before? CPU is 4790k on asus rog maximus hero 6 (i think) PSU is the corsair ax760

I have a similar issue, but not the same. Only reason i wanted to mention it is because im also using 4790k. When i go to start menu and push shut down, my pc will power all the way down and the fans will stop for just a second, then everything turns back on and fully boots. I will be watching this thread for help with your issue, and hopefully help me at the same time too

You could check your booting option from BIOS.

Already updated and reset BIOS multiple times

What I mean is to check what option is set for boot fast, normal, ect. usually there is few types of boot.

just a fast boot with 3 sec delay screen (or whatever the screen with msi logo)

I suggest you to switch to normal boot took more time but there could be some hidden message that could help you find the root cause of the issue. You could switch back to fast boot at any time just to see the message that are shown during boot that are not hidden whit MSI logo .

We'll. I took apart my system to change my cooling set up a bit, and when I put it back together the problem seemed to go away. idk what happened, but I guess it's fine now
