System:
GTX 980 Strix
Corsair CX 750
Gigabyte Z97X-G5
Intel i7-4790K
16GB fury x
Operating system - windows 10 on samsung 850 msata ssd.
(Also a UHD monitor)
In spring I updated to windows 10 from 8.1 which I found to be a huge mistake, I dont know whether this is a direct result from updating or just unfortunate timing, but whenever I play certain games with my PC it will just shut off. Turn to black screen then immediately start booting up again. It happens consistently in games like City:Skylines and Golf with Friends. But now its been happening with games like CS:GO and even overwatch on occasion. I ordered new thermal paste just in case, but I dont know whats happening at all. I have been considering going back to windows 8.1. anyone have any suggestions?
